I wasn't in the mood to work on my string blocks tonight so I decided I'd get my July Postcards made. All I'm thinking of this time of year is blue skies and water.....the base fabric is a hand dyed from Debbie.

I have my July cards ready to mail. I tried to post them yesterday but my computer was not letting me sdd the picture. I'm trying again

There's been SO much rain around here everything is very green so I made some dimensional leaves by fusing a light green to a dark green and them cutting them out freehand. Some are sewn light green up, others are sewn dark green up.

I guess I better get to work if I want to get my June card in the mail before I leave on Saturday.

I was afraid that I was going to be late again this month, very unusual for me but I managed to get my cards done. Celebrating Caleb's birth.

From Mom - I think I have this card upside down for the photo because the leaves look like wings to me!

I got a new book in the mail today that has some ideas for beading and embroidery that I'm hoping I'll have time to play with for my May and June cards.

I had the cutest card waiting for me from Ashley when I got home from Virginia.

I was up all night working and decided I'd get these done before we leave for Mexico in the morning. I even went out and mailed them at 4:15AM because I knew I'd forget once I started getting ready to leave.

I went to post my card and put it on the Mclaughlin Blog instead. I'm mailing my card to Kara

I got my January card from Rebecca, Isn't it cute. I'm wishing for warmer weather too Rebecca. Thank you.

I'm having a not so creative day but both cards are done. I decided I'd try to use some ribbon to border both cards -- it looks better in person, really!

I got two new cards on Friday. The Snow Man from Ashley and the other from Mary Ann. They are both very cute. Thanks
