Quilt Cards

I don't have another sewing machine but I couldn't resist making another version for this month's challenge...wonder where it will end up?

Mom and I found the sewing machines and measuring tape last week at Joann's and when she posted her card I thought it was SO cute and hoped mine would look as good.

I don't like applique so I didn't want to stitch those letters down but had the bright idea to hand sew a running stitch down them with perle cotton. The idea to use buttons came last night while I was trying to sleep. I'm happy with this one!

Very cute cards Mom -- and so were the ones you made for Ann, Maureen, and me. I'll get mine posted later this week after I get settled back in after being gone so much the last couple weeks.

Isn't this beautiful??  I got it today from Mother.  Thanks you so much, I love it.I'm headed out first thing in the morning for Kansas. Have a great Mother's Day!
